“Performing print in space and time”: a contingent from Gothenburg, Sweden's Grafik i Väst print gallery offers a multidisciplinary experience, including a pop-up portable print-show, performances and presentations. In tandem, we will arrive with a portable display for exhibiting supporting artworks, such as artists books, sculptural print and site specific installation and demonstrate non-traditional forms of performative printmaking.

 

ABOUT GRAFIK I Väst

Grafik i Väst is an artists run gallery in Göteborg, Sweden, with around 260 national and international printmakers. We host around ten exhibitions at our gallery each year, with one invited non-members' exhibition and a yearly printmaking scholarship exhibition. Beside our gallery, flat files and webshop, we also support many external projects, including initiatives like this one, while also ranging from international-exchange printmaking exhibitions, to pop-up events and pedagogic outreach events to support the continuing advocacy and development of printmaking as a contemporary means of artistic communication.
