SGCI STUDENT PANEL
MODIFIED PRINT: BREAKING THE RECTANGLE
Panel Chair: Sarah Ellis
Panelists: Stephanie Alaniz, Todd Herzberg, Mizin Shin
Perfect registration, clean borders, plate embossment... we all
love it. Printmaking is a chameleon and can be used for an infinite array of
purposes. As students, it is paramount to keep questioning how technique,
format, and content relate to one another. This panel will focus on adapting
your academic printmaking practice to include non-traditional formats such as
installation, sculpture, and film to create a well-rounded portfolio.
