Go Red for Women 10-week Healthy Heart
Challenge – National Heart Foundation of Australia (N.S.W. Division)
ABN 95 000 253 289 on behalf of the Heart Foundation group (hereinafter
referred to as “the Heart Foundation”, “we”, “us” and “our”) comprising:

Division) ABN 17 009 481 707, National Heart Foundation of Australia

Members of the general public (Participants) will be invited to
participate in the Go Red for Women 10-week Healthy Heart Challenge
(Challenge). | |
1. | The Challenge will commence on 1 June 2011 and end on 10
August 2011.

2. | The Challenge is open to all Australian Residents. Persons under 18
years of age must seek the consent of their parent or guardian to
register and participate in the Challenge. The parent or guardian must
read and accept these terms and conditions prior to registration and
they acknowledge that they may be required to provide confirmation of
their consent to the Heart Foundation. |

Some Challenge entrants will be appointed as Challenge Champions
(Champions) and will play a prominent role in the media to act as
advocates and inspiration for others who may wish to take o the
challenge. In appointing the Champions the Heart Foundation’s decision
is final and no correspondence shall be entered into. |
4. | By accepting these Terms & Conditions, Champions and Participants
will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
and be bound by them. |
Medical clearance | |
5. | All Champions and Participants acknowledge that they are strongly
advised to visit a general practitioner prior to commencing the
Challenge to receive medical clearance and discuss the goals of their
Challenge with their general practitioner to ensure their goals are
medically appropriate for the individual needs of the Champions and/or
Participants. |
6. | All Champions and Participants agree to hold the Heart Foundation
harmless for their medical or health outcomes resulting from
participation in the Challenge. |
7. | All Champions and Participants agree to utilise the
downloadable information promoted on the Challenge website and consult publicly
available published Heart Foundation information to assist them in
achieving their Challenge goal(s). |
Publicity | |
8. | Participants will not be required to undertake specific publicity unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

9. | Champions will be required to undertake publicity and will be provided with a separate Media Consent Form for this purpose. |
Prizes | |
10. | Any prizes offered as part of the Challenge are subject
to the terms and conditions advertised with the relevant competition. |
Exclusion of Liability | |
11. | Participation in the Challenge is at the sole risk of Champions and
Participants, and the Heart Foundation accepts no liability whatsoever
arising from participation in the Challenge. |
12. | Champions and Participants must at all times indemnify and hold harmless
the Heart Foundation, including its personnel (its employees,
volunteers, officers, servants, agents and subcontractors) (those
indemnified), from and against all loss, damage, liability, injury, cost
or expense (including legal expenses on a solicitor and own client
basis), whatsoever incurred or suffered by those indemnified or arising
from any claim, suit, demand, action or proceeding by any person against
any of those indemnified in relation to the Challenge. |

Statement provided at the time of registration. For further information
