This tutorial will provide insight into the performance, scalability, resiliency and manageability of Nokia’s mobile gateway virtualized network functions as verified in tests conducted by the independent test lab - European Advanced Networking Test Center AG (EANTC). The tutorial will cover the architecture of the virtual platform, deployment options and redundancy features. The EANTC tests verified the subscriber scalability and throughput performance of the VMG in the role of Serving Gateway (SGW), Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW) and Evolved Packet Data Gateway (EPDG).
