E-VPN replaces the traditional data plane flood and learn approach of creating an Ethernet VPN forwarding database by moving that function into the control plane using MP-BGP extensions to manage the learning of MAC/IP addresses. E-VPN enhances service resiliency with support for all-active multi-homed CPE redundancy and per-flow load balancing. E-VPN can be used for Data Center Interconnect using VX-LAN tunnels extended across an MPLS WAN as well as for the delivery of integrated Ethernet and IP VPN services over MPLS. This workshop will familiarize participants with the operation of E-VPN on the 7750 SR and the provisioning and management of Ethernet and IP VPN services using E-VPN. |
In the event of cancellation prior to Sep 12, registrants will not be charged a cancellation fee. In case of cancellation on or after Sep 12, or no-show, we reserve the right to charge all workshop registrants a cancellation fee equivalent of $25. This fee will be assessed on top of the event cancellation fee as described in the Fees section. |
