Exploring Nokia’s Optical Management System Workshop – Data Plane
This OMS Data Plane workshop will provide participants with an understanding of how to operate and provision the 1830 PSS platforms. The data plane session will focus on using the OMS for system turn-up, optical power commissioning, link discovery and service creation. Participants will also be introduced to the capabilities of our unique wave length monitoring and fault isolation system called Wave Tracker.

The OMS Control Plane workshop will expose attendees to the use of GMPLS for the creation of wavelength services, protection and restoration of services including Source Based Restoration and Shared Risk Groups using the OMS GUI.

| In the event of cancellation prior to Sep 12, registrants will not be charged a cancellation fee. In case of cancellation on or after Sep 12, or no-show, we reserve the right to charge all workshop registrants a cancellation fee equivalent of $25. This fee will be assessed on top of the event cancellation fee as described in the Fees section. |
