Why We Are Hosting This National Again
In 2008 we hosted the SBIR National Conference at the CT Convention Center and attracted close to 900 attendees from 46 states. We were told by the agencies that the turnout and content was exceptional. We were asked to host the National again.

What's New for 2010?
  • More attendees
  • A Social Networking Site
  • A Cyber Cafe in the Exhibit Hall
  • Improved Visibility in Exhibit Hall
  • More Traffic
This year we are expecting 1000 attendees to come. All of the 11 SBIR agencies will be attending. Additionally, major prime defense contractors, large corporations and universities will be coming. We are changing the floorplan for the exhibition hall by providing access from the dining ballroom. This will increase traffic flow by providing the attendees with more access to sponsors' exhibits. Opening up the room will also provide more "prime" spots to showcase our sponsors.

We are always asked by sponsors if they can have an attendee list prior to the conference.  Well . . . we think we have an even better solution..

We have developed an interactive "Social Networking" site that sponsors can use prior to the conference.  Once sponors register they will be able to read profiles of tech companies that are coming to the conference.  Attendees can also be contacted using an email interface.  The site is easy to use -- and automatically populates a company profile using registration data.  Please be respectful when contacting other attendees.

This year, the exhibit hall will have a Cyber Cafe!  Any attendee wishing to use the internet from their laptop can utilize the Cyber Cafe area -- located in the heart of the exhibit hall.  This is sure to increase traffic!

Who Will Be Attending?
SBIR companies are small technology businesses that are US owned and have 500 or fewer employees. These innovators come from all over the US to learn what the government needs for the next several years, what large businesses are looking for downstream, and to be inspired by the presentations over the course of 3 days.

The National attracts large companies that are looking for innovation to add to their core products and services.

Smaller manufacturers come to partner with small businesses.  Like larger companies, they are seeking innovation to improve their competitive edge.

There will be a focus on sustainable energy, health care and military needs at this conference.  Companies that can leverage their technologies will be here.

Banner Sponsorship
Companies that wish to supply a banner to display prominently throughout the conference may do so. This level of support is not only available to service providers, it has been opened to all companies and organizations.  For more information Email Us
