'Collaborating for Paediatric Critical Care'
News Update:
Invitation
The local organising committee in Leicester cordially invites you to PCCS 2022 at Leicester Tigers Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium for a substantially eclectic and immersive take at a face-to-face conference with virtual/hybrid opportunities.
We will be showcasing Leicester’s qualities and skills relevant to the world of paediatric critical care whilst celebrating national work and achievements. We will especially appeal to the wider multi-disciplinary team by providing choice, variety and audience participation to truly give you, our delegate, fantastic value for your time and money.
Our pre-conference workshops will intensify and diversify your practical skills and help you gain the additional experiences to supplement your critical care training. We invite allied specialties to paediatric critical care, in particular RCPCH HDU Spin, Emergency Department and Anaesthetic trainees, Nurses and Advanced Clinical Practitioners to participate in our inter-professionally focused programme. These workshops will provide an intimate learning environment and the prime opportunity to experience UK’s first and exclusive paediatric mobile ECMO simulation.
The main scientific programme promises varied scientific content delivered in a truly immersive context for the face-to-face delegate. In particular, PCCS 2022 will feature a unique opportunity for face-to-face delegates with our “PIC & Mix” stream. This stream will enable pre-booked delegates to experience our specially designed “scientific escape rooms”, practical skill workshops and focus on personal wellbeing as well as bringing back the competitive spirit of PCCS conferences.
A scientific meeting in all its blaze and glory means so much more in the context of our patients and their families for whom we strive to succeed. PCCS 2022 hopes to appeal to our human touch as we explore the experiences of those we have had the honour to have cared for.
We understand for some, that the face-to-face option is not ecologically or physically viable, hence we will be live-streaming a single feed, and provide a link for other sessions post conference.
Our social and networking programme will tantalise your tastebuds and demonstrate our warm and charming hospitality whilst the world of UK’s Paediatric Critical Care assembles once again.
Leicester’s multi-cultural community and heritage lays home to the remains of King Richard III, the home of the Leicester Tigers and Leicester City Football Club, National Space Centre and glorious parks and countryside in its close surrounds.
Polish those abstracts, get them submitted.
Dust off your gowns and comfy dancing shoes as PCCS 2022 Leicester awaits you for a truly unforgettable conference.

Call for Abstracts - Update and Deadline Extension
Thank you to authors.
We have received a fantastic response to the call for abstracts for Leicester 2022 but we know that there are many more delegates out there who have not been able to complete and submit their abstracts.
We have had several requests for extra time from some authors, so we have decided to extend our deadline for submission of abstracts to 26th June 2022.
This is a final chance for you to showcase your work at our return to face to face conferencing.

Invitation to Companies
We are back live and look forward to company news and training.
PCCS would like to invite companies to host workshops and sessions as well exhibit - again! We know a Conference with an Exhibition is very ‘time’ competitive for delegates to meet with companies and we plan features in the Exhibition area to encourage not only a higher profile for companies with delegates, but also enable companies to gain access and ‘contacts’ leading to future sales interaction.
We intend to offer more exposure through the on demand streaming of sessions with the E Company Zone.
Here at Leicester Children’s Hospital host team, our view is that we wish to provide quality education best delivered live and on-site to our members, learning from each other’s experiences, great networking opportunity as well as quality profile and returns for your company's investment; be it in kind or in funding.
Please review this Prospectus and contact the team to plan your involvement.
