The Gouvernement aan de Maas (Province House) of Limburg is an architecturally very interesting building (1986) built along the Maas and partly on an island in the river. You can visit the art collection that comprises no fewer than 1350 works. The table at which the Maastricht Treaty was signed in the Gouvernement building, in February 1992, is one of the reminders of the Euro Summit in Maastricht.

On Thursday afternoon october 20th, we offer you a few options for a guided tour. Both interesting and pleasant, there is an option for every palate.
option 1 - the taste of Maastricht
a culinary guide walk through this old and famous city. You will learn about it and meet its inhabitants in a fun way with plenty of stops to enjoy the famous foods and drinks of Limburg.
option 2 - Tour at the Jesuit Mountain
Just outside Maastricht, near the Belgian border, we visit a beautifully worked limestone quarry, once inhabitated by Jesuits who left intricate carvings and stunningly decorated caves and halls.
option 3 - Guided Tour at The American Graveyard
This WW2 memorial is as impressive and telltaling as the ones at Normandy in France. It’s the location where the Americans gave the dead their final resting place and it’s still much visited by relatives from all over the world.
option 4 - Boattrip on the Maas
A chance to enjoy the magnificent river and the city of Maastricht in a very relaxing way.
