Luggage Information

Luggage Regulations

Luggage regulations vary by airline. We recommend you contact the airline directly or review their website for luggage restrictions prior to departure.

Luggage Tags

Luggage tags will be mailed to you with your final trip information approximately two weeks prior to departure. Fill in your contact information and use these tags on the outside of your luggage for easy identification. Also be sure to attach a permanent identification tag or sticker to the inside of each bag. This will help the airlines identify your luggage in the event the outside tags are lost.

You will also find Seabourn bag tags within your pre-trip package. These should be carried with you and attached to your luggage once you arrive in Rome.

Carry-On Luggage

For all carry-on pieces, the most recent regulations restrict liquids, gels and pastes of any kind. All liquids must be in containers of no more than 3.4 ounces or 100ml, and all containers must fit in a clear, one quart sized zip top plastic bag. For the most up-to-date information on what you can and cannot take in your carry-on, we suggest you visit the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) website.

Please note all restrictions vary by country and airline. You should confirm the per person luggage allowance with your specific airline on all domestic and international flights.

Be sure to leave room in your luggage for souvenirs you may acquire or bring a folding tote for use on your return flight. If you pack souvenirs in a separate bag, all items must be easily accessible when clearing customs.
