Ship Phone Information

On a cruise vacation, it’s always reassuring to leave the telephone number of the ship with family, friends, and business associates. Instruct them to follow the calling instructions below. This service is provided by Ship Dial and those who call will incur a cost if connected. The teleprompt advises the price based on the ship.

You may also send and receive phone calls and text messages from your mobile phone while on the ship. Your calls will be billed by your phone provider and appear as roaming charges on your bill. When the ship is near port, the system is turned off, and you may connect to local networks as permitted by your phone service provider. It is recommended to check with your provider to confirm that you have international calling capability or a roaming agreement that has been established with Wireless Maritime Services or with Seabourn.

Your stateroom phone can be used to dial any telephone number in the world. The rate varies depending on location of the ship and where the guest is calling. All calls regardless of 800, toll-free or calling cards used will be billed to the guest’s accounts. Calls are billed in full minutes.

Internet Service

Whether accessing the internet via your own device or the Seabourn Square computer workstations, the same rates apply. Charges will be posted to your shipboard account. Time credit cannot be refunded.

To be the most successful with your electronic communication device, prepare them before leaving home:

• Learn how to turn ON and OFF the Wi-Fi and network (mobile/cellular) connections on your devices.
• Contact your mobile/cellular service to confirm that a roaming agreement with Seabourn has been established and set up your international roaming.
• Switch your settings to the most basic choice that shows fewer graphics and loads faster.
• Facebook users should bookmark and plan to use m.facebook.com or touch.facebook.com as these sites have fewer graphics and load faster.
• Don’t forget to pack power cords, battery packs, camera cables, adaptor cables and other accessories you may need to operate your devices.

Fax and Postal Services

Fax messages may also be sent and received onboard the ship. Faxes addressed to you will be delivered directly to your suite. Outgoing fax and postal services are available at Seabourn Square. Seabourn Odyssey Fax: (206) 501-2936
