PCCS has fixed the Registration Fees for the 2022 Annual Sciencific Meeting to be as accessible as possible to all colleagues in the UK and abroad.  The Registration Fees are essentially to cover the costs of staging the event.   

Registration for the PCCS Annual Sciencific Meeting includes:

 International Delegates

PCCS is very keen to welcome colleagues from other countries to the 2022  Conference. PCCS is offering heavily reduced Registration Fees for colleagues from those countries categorised as non-high income economies as defined by the World Bank listing  here.

•    Delegates from countries defined as non-high income economies may attend the PCCS 2022 Conference either online or in-person at a heavily reduced rate of £75 until 9th September and £85 thereafter.  Delegates wishing to access these special rates should E-Mail picsuk@indexcommunications.com with a request on the official letterhead of their organisation - eg hospital - to request the link to Registration, which is not public.  After review and approval, these delegates will then be provided with the link for booking.

•    Delegates from high income economies are welcome and standard fees apply. 

Membership Rates

Virtual Delegate Rates

It is possible to register for the two days PCCS 2022 ASM for online access only.  However, this will give a delegate online access to one stream of the programme only.  To gain full advantage of the packed programme - including pre-Conference Workshops and the “PIC and Mix” options, delegates are strongly recommended to attend in-person. 

Consultants: £225.00         Postgraduate Doctors: £200 .00         Nurses/AHP: £150.00 

Day delegate or Group discounts are not available with online access. CPD Certifcates can be downloaded after completing a questionaire.  Bursaries are not avaialble to Online delegates.

PCCS Sustainability Policy

As child health professionals, PCCS members have a duty both to mitigate the health impact of climate change and to advocate for the wellbeing of children.  

PCCS is encouraging that the activites associated with PCCS Conference is planned to reduce the effects of carbon. We have partnered with Ecologi (more info) and invite delegtes to offset thier potential carbon footprint with the conference by including a £10.00 donation via Registration. All funds will be sent to Ecologi to fund tree planting in the UK.

Please note the following booking conditions:  

1.  Bookings for the PCCS Annual Scientific Meeting must be made online and paid for at the time of booking, by debit or credit card only. 

2.  Payment is to be made by card (debit or credit) only and fees cannot be invoiced***  Our automated booking system makes receipts available immediately after a successful card payment. 

3. It remains the responsibility OF THE DELEGATE to ensure that payment is  received by the Secretariat. ***No contact with Finance  Departments / Managers/Budget Holders/Procurement Teams can be entered into without additional charges.  No additional documentation can be provided by the Secretariat to achieve payment, in order to keep the administrative costs down. The Secretariat will deal with the named delegate only.

4.  Savings are to be made by booking at the Early Registration Fee.  The Fees will automatically increase on the date shown in the grid above.

5.  The final joining instructions for the 2022 ASM will be issued to registered delegates before the event.  The instructions may contain guidance and/or protocols as regards COVID-19.  We ask all delegates to take responsibility for reading and digesting the content of the final joining instructions, accordingly. 

6.  CPD Certificates will be issued to registrants on the completion of the post-Event Survey.  This is an honesty-based system and delegates should claim only the number of CPD credits which match their attendance at this event.

PCCS is a Registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) 1165535.

It is governed by a Constitution approved by the Charity Commission (England and Wales) on 22 March 2012. The Constitution was last amended in November 2019.

Value Added Tax: PCCS is not VAT registered and no VAT applies to the Registration Fees.

GDPR policy for delegates:
The Hosts and Organisers for this event take Data Protection very seriously and delegates’ privacy is paramount.  For the purposes of the administration of bookings, delegate data is required.  During the booking process, bookers have the option to decline the publication of delegate address data.

A Cancellation Policy is in place

•    In producing this policy, PCCS wishes to create a balance between showing compassion to participants who may find at the last minute that they can no longer attend the Leicester Conference with the needs to keep Registration Fees as low as possible for all participants.  This new policy has been developed as a consequence of COVID-19 and its impact on mass gatherings.

This policy relates to registered delegates only.  There is a separate policy for exhibitors and sponsors, as shown on the reverse of the Booking Form and Contract. 

Cancellations should be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat by E-Mail.

We also highlight that for “no show” delegates – ie where no notification of non-attendance is provided in advance to the Secretariat – no refund will be given. 

Cancellation received before 11pm on 1st September: Delegates may choose from: 

•  Switch the registration across to another colleague, whose name and E-Mail address should be provided to the Conference Secretariat.  There is no fee for making this switch. 
• Refund minus 15% to cover administrative costs 
• Cancellation received from 11.01pm on 1st September: Delegates may choose from: 
•  Switch the registration across to another colleague, whose name and E-Mail address should be provided to the Conference Secretariat.  There is no fee for making this switch. 
•  Roll-over of Registration Fee paid to PCCS 2023 ASM 
• Refund minus 20% to cover administrative costs
