Invitation to PCCS 2022

With the uncertainties of the management of COVID like many other PCCS has decided to take its education and conference online. A virtual, interactive educational event in planned for September 2022. Hosted by the 2022 Leicester Committee.

The PCCS has always been an inclusive and friendly conference and has been popular with companies for a long time. The PCCS Online team is working to design an event that offers good education delivered in a human way but over the internet.

This is basically the same philosophy that the team has towards companies involved – but the team has to design a completely new way to bring delegates and companies together and for companies to get a return on their investment.

Our recent experience is that a few companies like the ideas below and that they can offer some engagement with their target specialists in support of your marketing efforts over the next 7 months.
In delivering the PCCS On-line Event we have a production team who will design the Scientific Programme, style the Programme to reflect PCCS philosophy and have a technical team to deliver on the days and support contributors before during and after the event – including the companies involved.

Anticipated Numbers: Experience from before Covid,  we anticipate over the three days an attendance to be over 300. Then there will be post event delegates looking at the archive material.

If there is enough support from companies the PCCS would like to reduce the registration fee or offer bursaries.

Company Prospectus: Educational Opportunities

Contributing Companies to the PCCS 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting are encouraged to provide ‘informative’ incentives (resources) and communicate using the ‘virtual’ communication pathways to achieve delegates to sponsor interaction. PCCS will endeavour to put in place pathways/facilities that encourage delegates to visit the resources and result in better informed delegates on a product or procedure (i.e no contact between company executive and delegates) or resulting in the permission or request for contact to be made between delegates and executive.

To ensure a profile for hosting company that encourages contact with delegates and executives through ‘call for action’ on education and aspects of interest. Drive for ROI in the virtual environment.

PCCS will provide a team to support the development of the marketing ‘project’ including project plan, resources listing through to recording of advert for modest costs.

Symposium:

Symposium: from 15 to 20 minutes a professionally produced video of the presentations with access to the speakers ‘live’ during the session for Q&A and voting etc. The production must reflect those of the PCCS event.     The symposium will be retained as part of the programme after the event for viewing and can be used by your company.

£6,000.00 licence (plus any  production).

Case Histories:

We invite companies to develop video case histories to CPD standards to be included in the programme. The case should be presented by a medical professional from overseas of UK. An abstract should be submitted to the Programme Committee at least 2 months before the event – this will allow for planning the recording etc. The case history can incorporate Q&A and polling. Product placement is allowed but needs to be done so in a relevant way.

£500.00 per placement (plus production @ £500.00 if required)

Poster Walks and Awards:

We are expecting abstracts to be submitted from delegates. These will be reviewed and accepted as poster or oral poster or oral presentations. We envisage an opinion leader to review the best posters with interaction between the leader and author. Sponsorship will include an award for the best poster in a selected specialty. Poster will be placed on the conference website and acknowledgement of support will be given.
