Daring to Be Profitable

Real Estate Artist, 5-time International Bestselling Author, super hero meets Robin Hood, Philanthro-Capitalist, Risk-Taker, Ultramarathoner, Actor and Visionary who sees opportunities and creates markets where none existed before. Upon attending his 4th high school in 4 years (he was asked to leave the first 3), Frank earned his high school diploma with a less-than-stellar 1.8 GPA. Then, at 18, with $50 in his pocket and without the benefit of further education, Frank left his native Indiana for Florida in search of what he refers to as his professional highest calling.

In his first Florida job he earned $180 a week, waking at 4:00 am, to dig sand traps by hand on a Deerfield Beach golf course. On May 19, 1986 Frank McKinney founded his real estate investment company and bought his first $50,000 fixer-upper, selling it a few months later for a $7,000 profit. Now, 28 years later, McKinney creates real estate markets where others dare to tread. He has built spec homes (homes built without a buyer) valued in the tens of millions of dollars. A true Renaissance man with a charming flair, he is without peer in the risky world of speculative high-end real estate, shattering price records with each new project.

And his latest? Frank just created then SOLD “Acqua Liana,” the world’s largest & most opulent triple certified (USGBC, FGBC & Energy Star) green mansion at $22,900,000!

With the sale of Acqua Liana and other oceanfront property, Frank McKinney proves once again to be a market maker, and declares the Real Estate market “bubble proof” if approached properly, as he references in great detail in his new, bestselling real estate book Burst This! Frank McKinney’s Bubble-Proof Real Estate Strategies.

Prior to the sale of his new multi-million dollar “Acqua Liana” mansion, he had sold, with an asking price of $50 Million, the largest and most expensive spec home ever created, containing 72 rooms, 32,000 square feet, 12 bedrooms, 18 baths, and a 14 car garage. Since his first $2.2 million oceanfront spec home in 1992, Frank McKinney has created and sold 41 oceanfront properties with an average selling price over $14 million.

Caring House Project Foundation

In 1998, Frank and his wife Nilsa founded the Caring House Project Foundation. Their primary objective is to provide housing, food, water, medical support and opportunity for the desperately homeless around the world, particularly in the Caribbean, South America, Indonesia and here in the United States of America. To Frank, Caring House is more than a project, it's a calling of responsibility to steward the blessings God has entrusted to him.

2014 Caring House Project is planning to build its 21st self-sufficient village in Ravine a’ Couleuvre, a small Haitian enclave near the Town of L’Estere (pop 3,000). The village is located on the northwest coast of Haiti. The new village will contain 40 painted concrete and steel homes to accommodate families up to 10 people, 1 painted 2,500 sq. ft. concrete and steel church and community center, 20 concrete and steel latrines, 1 water well, 40 water filtration systems, 40 goats and 80 chickens.

This new village will benefit 400+ children and their families! All elements of the village will be provided to the residents of Ravine a’ Couleuvre at no cost to them.
