At the 4-H State Leadership Conference, attendees (aged 14-19) have the opportunity to participate in exciting and educational activities on the UC Davis campus and in the surrounding areas. Participants to explore and learn about new topics in a fun and engaging way. Whether you're interested in agriculture, technology, or history, there's a tour that's sure to pique your curiosity and leave you with unforgettable memories. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn and explore at the 4-H State Leadership Conference! This year at SLC, attendees can choose to attend exclusive Friday only workshops instead of going on a tour. These hands-on sessions take place at the same time as the tours, so you'll need to decide which experience fits your goals best.
TIP: Register early for the most choices. Space is limited.
A $25 change fee will apply if you choose to change your Friday Activities after June 25.

State Leadership Conference is excited to offer an experience focused on a specific program area - it is perfect for someone to explore if civic engagement is their spark! Attendees will spend the whole day in Sacramento visiting the State Capitol, the 3rd District Court of Appeals for California, and more. This is an all day experience that will go to multiple locations. This is an all day tour from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm you will not be able to attend or select other tours if you chose to attend this tour.

Prepare for the real world with “Generation Wealth” — a fun, hands-on financial simulation designed for teens and young adults! Hosted by our sponsor, Travis Credit Union, this experience gives you a taste of real-world finances. Role play with an occupation, salary, spouse, student loan debt, and credit score as you step into the role of an adult. Plus, you have a chance to win a $50 gift card! A total of six gift cards will be given away during the workshop.

Underground Tour of Old Sacramento

Come and learn how Sacramento's street and buildings were lifted up out of the floodwaters during the 1860s and 1870s to avoid future floods. This historical tour includes hollow sidewalks, sloped alleyways, and the underground spaces themselves.

What does it take to cultivate a great County Ambassador team? This workshop provides participants with an opportunity to grow their understanding of the six leadership competencies. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses in the leadership competencies will help you adapt to the challenges your team may face and use them to find your window to thrive on the team. Will be located on the UC Davis Campus.
