Company Prospectus: Education

 

Symposium:

 Annual Scientific Meeting (max 2) only.
Duration between 30 - 45 minutes, a professionally produced video of the presentations with access to the speakers ‘live’ or live on stage during Programme. The production must reflect those of the APAGBI event and offer CPD value. The symposium will be retained as part of the programme after the event for viewing and can also be used by your company.    
£6,500 licence (plus production budget estimate @ £300.00 plus VAT if required)
 

Case Histories:

We invite companies to develop video case histories to CPD standards to be included in the programme. The case should be presented by a medical professional from overseas or the UK. An abstract should be submitted to the Programme Committee at least 2 months before the event as a proposal for approval – this will allow for planning the recording etc. The case history can incorporate Q&A and polling. Product placement is allowed but needs to be done in a relevant way.
£1,750.00 per placement ((plus production budget estimate @ £550.00 plus VAT if required)

Sponsored Scientific Sessions including Debates and other scenarios organised by APA £2,000. 
The Scientific Committee will prepare a 'topic shopping list' from which the companies can make a selection and propose the chairman for the Sponsored Sessions. The Scientific Committee will review the topic and chairman and give their approval or remarks.

Sponsored Sessions including: debates and other scenarios organised by supporting company. To be negotiated
The Scientific Committee welcomes proposals from companies for the provision of educational sessions. These can range from scientific papers to product placement through to non clinical courses such as personal development such as presentation skills and team management.

 

Hosted Product Demonstrations or Skills Sessions
Scenarios organised by supporting company from £1,500
The Scientific Committee welcomes proposals from companies for the provision of product demonstrations and other educational sessions. These can range from scientific papers to product placement through to non clinical courses such as personal development such as presentation skills and team management.
For Company Sessions the facilities include:
• Timetable in Programme
• Demonstration room with power and furniture
(AV not included in rate)
• Booking facility provided to register delegates (restrictions apply)
• Company name and logo on website
• Delegate wallet insert to advertise your session
• Position for roll up banner

Poster Walks and Awards:

We are calling for abstracts to be submitted by delegates. These will be reviewed and accepted as poster or oral presentations. An opinion leader will review the best posters with interaction between the leader and author. Sponsorship will include an award for the best poster in a selected specialty. Poster pdfs will be placed on the conference website and acknowledgement of support will be given.
£750.00 per award. 
 

Oral Presentation Awards:

 We are calling for abstracts to be submitted by delegates. These will be reviewed and accepted as poster or oral presentations. Sponsorship will include an award for the best oral presentation in a selected specialty. Acknowledgement of support will be given.
£750.00 per placement
