Welcome to Registration

APAGBI has fixed the Registration Fees for the Annual Scientific Meeting  to be as accessible as possible to all colleagues in the UK and from abroad.  The Registration Fees are essentially to cover the costs of staging the event. 

Registration for the APAGBI Annual Scientific Meeting includes: access to the in-person event, refreshments, exhibition  and

Membership Rates
Significant savings are available for APAGBI Members including for trainees, so we strongly recommend that if you are not a Member, you join for 2022.  Here is more information:

APAGBI is not VAT registered and no VAT applies to the Registration Fees.

Please note the following booking conditions: 

1.  Bookings for the APAGBI Annual Scientific Meeting must be made online and paid for at the time of booking, by debit or credit card only. 

2.  Payment is to be made by card (debit or credit) only and fees cannot be invoiced***  Our automated booking system makes receipts available immediately after a successful card payment. 

3. It remains the responsibility OF THE DELEGATE to ensure that payment is received by the Secretariat. ***No contact with Finance Departments/Managers/Budget Holders/Procurement Teams can be entered into without additional charges.  No additional documentation can be provided by the Secretariat to achieve payment, in order to keep the administrative costs down. The Secretariat will deal with the named delegate only.

4.  Savings are to be made by booking at the Early Registration Fee.  The Fees will automatically increase on the date shown in the grid above.

5.  The final joining instructions for the 2022 ASM will be issued to registered delegates before the event.  The instructions may contain guidance and/or protocols as regards COVID-19.  We ask all delegates to take responsibility for reading and digesting the content of the final joining instructions, accordingly. 

6.  CPD Certificates will be issued to registrants on the completion of the post-Event Survey.  This is an honesty-based system and delegates should claim only the number of CPD credits which match their attendance at this event. 

A Cancellation Policy is in place: 
In producing this policy, APAGBI wishes to create a balance between showing compassion to participants who may find at the last minute that they can no longer attend the Cardiff Conference with the needs to keep Registration Fees as low as possible for all participants.  This new policy has been developed as a consequence of COVID-19 and its impact on mass gatherings.

This policy relates to registered delegates only.  There is a separate policy for exhibitors and sponsors, as shown on the reverse of the Booking Form and Contract. 

All cancellations must be sent by E-Mail to apa@indexcommunications.com .

We also highlight that for “no show” delegates – ie where no notification of non-attendance is provided in advance to the Secretariat – no refund will be given. 

Cancellation received before 11pm on 1st April: Delegates may choose from: 
1)    Switch the registration across to another colleague, whose name and E-Mail address should be provided to the Conference Secretariat.  There is no fee for making this switch. 
2)    Refund minus 15% to cover administrative costs 

Cancellation received from 11.01pm on 1st April: Delegates may choose from: 
1)    Switch the registration across to another colleague, whose name and E-Mail address should be provided to the Conference Secretariat.  There is no fee for making this switch. 
2)    Roll-over of Registration Fee paid to APAGBI 2023 ASM 
3)    Refund minus 20% to cover administrative costs 
 

GDPR policy for delegates:
The Hosts and Organisers for the Annual Scientific Meeting take Data Protection very seriously and delegates’ privacy is paramount.  For the purposes of the administration of bookings, delegate data is required.  During the booking process, bookers have the option to decline the publication of delegate address data.  E-Mail addresses are never published.
