Individual Delegate

Individual delegates are those professionals who want to attend the event as an attending delegate and are not a sponsor, speaker, accredited journalist, or member of the government. An individual delegate badge allows you FULL access to the event including all conference sessions, the exhibition hall, event breakfasts, lunches, receptions, and meeting rooms. There are two classifications of individual delegates:

Government Delegate

Government Delegates are those professionals who are currently employed by a government agency. Mining ministers and vice-ministers who are invited to officially participate in the programme have a different pricing schedule. Employees of state-run corporations are not eligible for the special government delegate rate. Government delegates are required to provide documentation as to their government status.


Sponsor Delegate

Sponsor delegate registration is reserved for official sponsors with a contract to participate in the Mining Indaba. Sponsor delegates are entitled to an allotment of registrations as part of their package. To redeem those company delegate registrations you will need your customised sponsor code. If you cannot locate your sponsor code for registration, please send an enquiry to customer service at info@minngindaba.com.

If a sponsor is interested in purchasing additional registrations – special rates are available.


Student Delegate

The student delegate rate is reserved for full-time students in an undergraduate programme. Part-time, university professors and/or university administrators do not qualify for the student rate. Students must provide proof of current status as a student in an official university. Acceptable accreditation includes:

  • A letter from your dean or advisor indicating your status as a current student. Letter must be on official university stationary (letterhead).
  • A copy of your current semester course schedule
  • A copy of current student photo identification

Student registration is not available online.Please send required documents in PDF format to customer service requesting a student registration. Visit the event fee schedule for the student rate.


YOUNG LEADERS CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The Young Leaders Career Development Programme will take place on Thursday 11 February and is an opportunity for Masters students, recent graduates and mining companies to participate in a networking and interactive workshop discussing career prospects within the mining sector. 

Access to the programme agenda will be based on prior approval. To attend the programme you will need to complete an application for accreditation. Participation in the programme will be complimentary once an application has been approved.
