Wellington

Wellington is New Zealand’s capital city and the home to Parliament and the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa which tells the story of New Zealand’s history through bold and interactive exhibits. Travel

If you are travelling by plane, you will arrive at Wellington International Airport. You will then need to make your way to the city centre.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the Victoria University, Pipitea Campus. Rutherford House will be used for keynote speakers, parallel sessions, trade exhibition and catering during the conference.

Getting to Victoria University – Pipitea Campus

Wellington is a compact city. You can travel easily to and from the downtown area to the University by public transport or on foot. You can get to the Pipitea Campus from the city centre either by a 5-10 minute walk or by bus.

Parking at the Pipitea Campus, Victoria University

Parking is very limited at the Pipitea Campus. Pay and display car parking is available in the streets around the University. There are also Wilson parking at Westpac Stadium, a 10 minute walk from Rutherford House.

Accommodation

Special accommodation rates are available for conference participants at the hotels listed below.

The special rates are only available through the online registration system.  You can book accommodation when registering for the conference.

Room rates include GST of 15%.  Please note, your credit card details are required to secure your reservation.  You are not required to pay a deposit, but are required to pay the full amount of your stay upon check out.


Accommodation cancellation policy
All cancellations must be notified in writing, by fax or email to your hotel.  Please contact your hotel directly regarding their cancellation policy.
