Getting around in Johannesburg
Delegates are encouraged to book airport and hotel transfers via the conference website however there are alternative mode of transportation below:
Gautrain
Delegates who will be using the Gautrain to and from the Conference venue can catch the train as follows:
Should delegates wish to explore various modes of transportation the below options are available:
Gautrain
- The return cost for a Gautrain trip from the airport is R350,00.
- Delegates who will be using the Gautrain from the airport should get off at the Sandton Station and make their way to the hotels. Delegates could make use of uber/taxify/meter taxis to get to the hotels.
Delegates who will be using the Gautrain to and from the Conference venue can catch the train as follows:
- The conference will be starting at 08h30 on each day and delegates are advised to catch a 07h00 for 07h15 train to make it to the conference venue by at least 07h45.
- When getting off at the Sandton Gautrain Station delegates could make use of the Gaubus and then get off at Rosebank Union Church.
- Gala Dinner: Delegates who will be attending the Gala Dinner should make alternative arrangements for their return trip as the Gautrain’s operating hours are from 05h30 to 20h30.
