The Venue

WERC’s 46th Annual Conference is taking place exclusively live, in-person in Orlando, Florida during the first week of June at the Hilton Orlando, a magical resort in the middle of Orlando’s International Drive.

  • The hotel is ADA compliant, but accessibility is not assured without prior arrangements
  • Centrally located to all major area theme parks
  • Family friendly amenities including two pools with waterslides & lazy river

$199 per night plus tax & $15 discounted Resort Fee (originally $40 a night) for WERC participants - book your room through Registration. Discounted rate and resort fee offer expires May 1.

 

Airport

Airport Transportation

  • Orlando has a variety of transportation options
  • Ride share is available through Uber and Lyft to pick up and drop off passengers at the airport.
  • Taxi service is approximately $40 one-way from the airport to the Hilton Orlando/International Drive. 
  • Shuttle service is also available for approximately $2 one-way from airport to the Hilton Orlando/International Drive.

Ground Transportation – Rental Cars

  • Avis and Hertz are just two of many rental companies located at the Orlando International Airport (MCO)
  • Hertz also has a desk within the Hilton Orlando for rentals that don’t have to span your whole stay
  • Discount is available one week before the conference through one week after the conference

 

 


WERC has partnered with AVIS to provide a meeting code for discounted rates on rental cars from Orlando International Airport

  • Guests can call AVIS Conference Travel Desk at 800-331-1600 during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 .p.m CT and reference code X515850

WERC has partnered with Hertz to provide a discounted rate on rental cars from Orlando International Airport or within the Hilton Orlando for rentals that do not span your whole stay

  • When visiting Hertz.com, click on the add Discount Code
  • On the Discount Code page, enter 2188961 on the Discount/CDP/Club Code line
  • CDP 2188961 can also be referenced when calling Hertz to book at 800-654-3131 or in the Hertz app
  • At the Hilton Orlando, the Hertz desk is located on the lower level near the Bus Loading area. The CDP discount code may also be utilized at this location.

Driving to Orlando

The venue is centrally located off Interstate 4 – plan your road trip today

Parking is available at the Hilton Orlando for a daily rate of $30 for self-parking and $40 a day for Valet

Weather

In early June, Orlando sees average high temperatures in the low-90s with overnight lows in the low-70s (Fahrenheit).

Weather in Orlando will be humid this time of year, with a chance of afternoon showers.

Meeting rooms are air conditioned and light, layered clothing, including a sweater or jacket, is recommended.

American Airlines

Though American Airlines is unable to offer a discount code for WERC travelers in 2022-2023, flights can still be booked at www.aa.com and at 1-800-433-1790.

United Airlines

Guests are welcome to book online or by phone, via the Meeting Travel Desk.
