Registration

What is included in my registration?
In addition to Trade Show access, partner registration packages include access to the Tuesday All-Partner General Session and Tuesday Content/Education Sessions.  

Am I considered a Partner?
Partners are hospitality/event industry representatives that fall into one of three categories:

  • Hotels (individual, cluster and chain representatives)
  • CVBs (including convention center sales)
  • Vendors (DMC, AV/Production, Speakers Bureau, Transportation, Printing, Gifting, etc.)

What category should I register under?

  • Single Hotel/Vendor is for 1 hotel property and service providers including DMC, AV, Transportation, Signage, etc.
  • Hotel Cluster is for individuals representing a small group of properties.  
  • Hotel Chain is for individuals representing and entire brand/chain.  CVB/DMO is for individuals representing a destination.  

How can I change the name on my registration?
Name changes of registration are accepted and can be requested in writing via APM@conferencedirect.com.


Payment

How do I pay?
You can pay for APM 2023 by check or wire transfer. Please see the payment instructions below:

Check Instructions: Checks must be payable to “ConferenceDirect, LLC.” Please include a printed copy of your registration confirmation or registration confirmation number along with a check for accurate processing.

Where can I get my invoice?
You can click the ‘Invoice’ button in your confirmation email to download a copy of your invoice.

What is the cancellation policy?
There are no refunds granted for registration fees for any reason, including but not limited to, adherence to health and safety requirement mandated by hotel, local/state jurisdictions and ConferenceDirect.  Transfers of registration are accepted and can be requested in writing via APM@conferencedirect.com.


Event/Schedule Information

How and when will I know what Associates are attending?
2-3 weeks before the event you will receive a pre-event email with a list of attending Associates. The attending Associate list will also be available in event the mobile app.

How and when will I know which Associates I should meet with?
2-3 weeks before the event you will receive pre-event emails with a list of all attending Associates and Associate Profiles to help you identify key Associates to meet with. Please note you will only receive these reports if you have paid your conference fees. These lists will also be posted in the mobile app.

Will there be food provided?
Beverages and light snacks will be provided in the trade show each day. Many of the major hotel brands host events on certain days for our Associates coordinated by your corporate office. If you are invited to attend one of these special events, a meal will be provided and coordinated by your corporate office.

What can Partners attend and what can Associates attend?
Partners can attend functions that are labeled ‘Partner’ and are included in their registration package. Many of the major brands host events on certain days for our Associates coordinated by your corporate office. If you are invited to attend one of these special events by your corporate office, partners are allowed to attend.
Events labeled ‘Associate’ on the agenda are Associate only functions.

Many of the major brands host events on certain days for our Associates coordinated by your corporate office. If you are invited to attend one of these special events by your corporate office, partners are allowed to attend. Otherwise, the sponsored events are Associate only functions.

This is my first time attending, how can I best be prepared? Is there anything important I should know before attending or anything important I need to bring?

  • Download the mobile app.
  • Use the reports provided by ConferenceDirect to create a targeted “hit list” for the tradeshow, and map out your list geographically to correspond with the tradeshow layout.  Plan on meeting approximately 10-12 Associate per day in the tradeshow.
  • Bring lots of business cards, and digital photos/presentations to use during tradeshow.
