In alignment with the CDCand our goal to ensure the conference environment is as safe as possible, we are implementing the following health and safety protocol for the 2022 Global Conference:
Attendance will be limited only to those registrants who have received a full regiment of any of the currently available vaccines (Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer BioNTech and Moderna in the U.S., or an equivalent outside of the U.S.). A full regiment is defined by the CDC(or equivalent medical authority outside the U.S.). Registrants will be required to provide proof of vaccination to a third party after registering for the event. Individuals who are unable to be vaccinated due to a disability or medical condition (such as pregnancy) which may preclude vaccination, or who have a sincere religious objection to receiving the vaccination, should contact us no later than Friday, April 15, to discuss alternatives or other accommodations with respect to the policy.
Three feet of distancing will be implemented for all seated events, including meals, plenary sessions, and breakout sessions. To properly implement this, registration will be capped at 420 attendees. Should CDC recommendations or virus spread change in the months leading up to the event, the cap may be increased.
Attendees will be asked to conduct daily health screenings which will include symptom checks. If an attendee answers "yes" to any of the health screening questions, they will be asked not to attend the conference sessions on that day.
Sanitization stations and individual hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the event.
Additional protocol such as masks or COVID tests may be implemented depending on virus spread. We will keep you updated as decisions are made.
We recommend that all attendees test for COVID before traveling to the event. If an attendee tests positive for COVID, they may not attend (even if they do not have symptoms). Visit the CDC for protocol regarding isolation and quarantine after testing positive.
If an attendee is exposed to COVID prior to the event, follow the CDC guidelines regarding quarantine and exposure.
To further accommodate distancing, there will be an overflow ballroom with a live stream for the large plenary sessions (the keynote and the employer panel).
Attendees will be provided with stickers to place on their nametags to indicate their comfort level with contact:
Red = please maintain at least three feet of distance (no hugs, handshakes, etc.)
Yellow = please ask before approaching
Green = hugs and handshakes are okay
Information about safety protocol used at the conference hotel can be found here. Note: please do not book a room at the hotel without using the MBA CSEA registration link. This could result in financial penalties for the organization.

We regret that the conference will not look the same as our pre-pandemic events, but we are glad to be meeting in person again, even in a revised capacity. We appreciate the flexibility and adaptability of our members as we work together to ensure our Global Conference is as safe as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
