This dedicated site will be updated regularly. We will alert you as information is added. In the meantime, here are some immediate next steps we need you to take:

1. Pre-Covening homework: In order for each person to get the most out of our gathering, we are requesting a bit of homework from you/your team. We’re keeping it fun and easy! Please see below for homework instructions.

The purpose of this homework exercise is two-fold:

1. To build out our  “Networking” page on this site, where you’ll be able to study the list of attendee profiles before traveling to Richmond. Doing this will give you a better sense of who will be in the room, and will increase your chances of connecting up with someone who’s got know-how you need, and/or someone who may be looking for the skills and experience you have to offer.

2. To create a short “backdrop” slideshow for you/your team as you “arrive” on the CREWS “Blue Carpet” during our “Roll Call!” activity at the start of the convening. (If you’re wondering what the heck this “blue carpet” and “roll call” are all about, open the attached Powerpoint file and check out slide #6 for more information.)

Remember: the homework info you share will be public amongst your CREWS peers!

If you have any questions, or trouble accessing the file, please don’t hesitate to email Kate (kate@catalystcollaboratives.com) or Madeline (madeline@catalystcollaboratives.com).

All homework is due no later than Monday, September 16!!

Please turn in your homework on time. J

Thank you for your participation!

Kate & Madeline

2. Registration: Please use this link to register for the convening. At this time, we are allowing:

a. Two people per organization: As you think about who would best benefit from this experience, I suggest you consider: (1) someone who has leadership capacity within your organization, (2) someone has not attended a previous CREWS convening, (3) someone that is directly involved in managing the Kresge funded work, (4) a community partner with whom you work closely.

b. If your organization serves as an intermediary, and/or you represent a network, you are allowed to bring up to three people. This should inlcude at least one leader of the network, and two partners you work with closely.

i. If any of your partners represent a municipality, please flag this in your registration, as we will have to make accomodations.

ii. The current networks/intermediaries are: Anthropocene Alliance, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, Freshwater Future, The Funder’s Network, Green Infrastructure Exchange, GreenLatinos, OneVoice, Southeast Sustainability Directors Network, US Water Alliance and New Jersey Future.
