9th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference

Scholarship applications have now closed and are currently being reviewed.

The purpose of the scholarship programme is to support the attendance of individuals who are most able to transfer the skills and knowledge acquired at the conference to the work they undertake in their own organisations and communities and who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend the conference.

Scholarships will support return economy class non-changeable air travel to Alice Springs, registration, accommodation and some meals.

Indigenous peoples with a knowledge of Viral Hepatitis are strongly encouraged to apply for scholarships. It is expected that indigenous applicants will have a range of experiences, expertise and seniority, and priority will be accorded to ensuring diversity across applicants.

As only a limited number of scholarships are available and the demand is high, it is strongly recommended you also seek funding from other sources.

Please read the following information carefully before you begin your application.

There are limited number of contestable scholarships available for:

Australian Aboriginal and Torres-Strait Islands’ Peoples and New Zealand Māori
Indigenous Peoples from Australasia and the Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Fiji etc
Indigenous Peoples from other parts of the World: including the Americas, Asia and India, Europe, the Circumpolar Region, Africa, and Islands and Territories.

Application is open to everyone working or volunteering in the field of Viral Hepatitis in any country, including Australia.
