WSV Symposium has concluded
Thank you very much to our speakers and chairs whose generous contribution of their time and expertise ensured a strong and dynamic conference. Thanks also to all the delegates who attended – we trust it was a valuable and worthwhile four days with many new professional contacts forged. We hope you enjoyed the conference as much as we did.Conference photos

Western Australian Government Principal Sponsor
We are delighted to announce that the Western Australian Government is the Platinum Sponsor for the World Society of Victimology Symposium in 2015 in Perth.
In making the announcement, WA Attorney General Michael Mischin said the Western Australian Government’s sponsorship of the symposium reflected its strong and continuing commitment to recognise and support victims of crime.
In a media statement he said: “The symposium has attracted high-calibre keynote speakers from Australia and around the world, allowing Australian academics and practitioners to share their own knowledge, expertise and experiences.
“This event will be a unique opportunity for local practitioners to interact with international engagement with victimologists, the judiciary, policing, researchers, non-Government organisations and policy makers.”
There are only three weeks to go for Australian and International practitioners to register for this important exchange of knowledge about victim research and victim support.
This is a once in a generation opportunity for Australian support workers, police and researchers in this field to gain professional development and knowledge in the field of victimology.
