PENS 2021 National Conference - Exhibit Booth Registration
 
 
            PRODUCT THEATERS
Product Theaters provide an opportunity for commercial organizations to present information to PENS Conference Attendees about their product or services or therapeutic areas in relation to endocrine/diabetes. The material presented in Product Theaters may be promotional and may concentrate on a specific product. Therefore, these sessions are considered promotional and may not offer continuing nursing education credit. The fee to conduct a Product Theater is $2,500 (per 20 minute program includes set up time) for exhibitors. Only exhibitors may participate in the program. With the purchase of a product theater your company will now be recognized as a sponsor. For more information please click here.

Please note - you must submit the application AND the support agreement form when applying for a product theater time slot. Applications without both documents will not be confirmed until both documents are received.  
 
ELIGIBILITY 
Organizations are required to be exhibitors at the PENS National Conference in order to sponsor a Product Theater. 

APPLICATION PROCESS
Product Theaters may only be conducted upon approval by PENS. Companies wishing to sponsor a Product Theater ‎should complete the product theater application and sponsorship agreement and email it to Caitlin Condie ‎‎(Ccondie@kellencompany.com). Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited for this ‎activity, therefore, a slot cannot be held without submission of both documents completed in full. ‎

Applications will be accepted from meeting planning or other third-party companies only if accompanied by a letter on ‎the sponsor’s letterhead confirming sponsorship of the Product Theater and authorizing the company to act on the ‎sponsor’s behalf.‎

VIRTUAL INFORMATION
Product theaters are being offered as part of the virtual program for the first ever PENS virtual conference. Product theaters will take place on Wednesday, April 21 beginning at 4:45 pm EST.
The following time slots are currently available:
  • Slot 1‎: ‎4:45 pm – 5:05 pm EST
  • Slot 2: ‎5:10 pm – 5:30 pm EST
  • Slot 3‎: ‎5:35 pm – 5:55 pm EST
  • Slot 4‎: ‎6:00 pm – 6:20 pm EST
 
PRODUCT THEATER DETAILS
  • Sessions are 20 minutes per exhibitor and Q&A must happen within the 20 minutes allotted.
  • Sessions can be live or pre-recorded. 
  • Product theaters will be linked to your virtual exhibit booth page, unless specifically requested to not be showcased on your virtual booth.
  • If the presenter is not registered to attend the conference, you must register them to have access to the session.

PROMOTION OF PRODUCT THEATERS
The title, description and bio of the speaker will be included on the agenda in the event platform. Attendees are able ‎to add the product theater to their personalized agenda. ‎

The product theater will be linked and promoted in your exhibit booth. ‎

All materials intended to promote Product Theaters, including websites, promotional brochures, invitations, and other ‎materials must be approved by PENS prior to release and distribution. Because changes may be required, it is strongly ‎recommended that review and approval by PENS occur before printing or production of the materials.‎

All approved promotional, marketing, and other materials used in conjunction with the Product Theaters must contain ‎the following statement in a prominent type size and location on the materials:‎

‎"This promotional activity is provided by (company) and is not certified for continuing education credit. The content of ‎this Product Theater and opinions expressed by presenters are those of the sponsor or presenters and not of the ‎Pediatric Endocrinology Nursing Society."‎

PENS will not be responsible for any other advertisement of the product theaters other than what is specified herein. ‎Participating companies are responsible for inviting and attracting PENS attendees through the use of personal ‎invitations prior and during the conference.‎

No other phrase or reference to PENS or the PENS National Conference is permitted on Product Theater materials. ‎The PENS logo or PENS meeting graphics may not be used on Product Theater materials. The words "education," ‎‎"educational," or "symposium" may not be used in any presentation titles or on any Product Theater materials.‎

Additional advertising opportunities are available to promote Product Theaters. ‎

CHANGES/WITHDRAWALS
Changes to assigned time slots must be requested in writing to Caitlin Condie at ccondie@kellencompany.com and will ‎be accommodated only if the requested time slot is available. The timeslots noted above have been approved by ‎PENS and may not be modified.‎

There will be no refunds for programs cancelled after March 1, 2021. For programs that are withdrawn by the sponsor ‎before March 1, 2021, 50% of the fee will be nonrefundable and will be retained by PENS, and the balance returned to ‎the sponsor. ‎
