Parents of Elementary Kids
(Parents of Kindergarten through 4th grade) 
Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Welcome to the NEW Parenting Elementary Class! This weekly class for parents of Kindergarten through 4th grades will cover the latest in brain research and how it practically relates to our children’s development, learning, behavior, and relationships. In a spiritually rich environment, participants will learn specific parenting strategies in managing behavior, building self esteem, dealing with peer relationships and sibling rivalry. We will also cover early literacy and learning, homework, balancing extracurricular activities and hectic schedules and discuss the growing use of technology in our children’s lives today. Parents will gain ideas for creating a strong family culture and identity-while also exploring the adventures and joys of raising children in the 21st century. We invite you to join us each Wednesday morning for this research based, educational, encouraging class!

Parents of "Tweens"
(Parents of 5th – 8th graders) 
Thursdays 9:30 - 11:30 AM
Instructor Jan Roberts 

This class for parents of tweens (grades 5th-8th) will provide a weekly forum for relevant child development information, parenting resources, peer support, and family fun ideas. Parents will learn through large and small group discussions regarding pre-adolescent issues such as: peer relationships, new patterns of family communication, physical and intellectual changes, dealing with the tween "attitude", and media guidelines. Parents will learn how to adjust family traditions, and add more fun holiday ideas, to maintain connection with their tween.

Parents of High School
(Parents of 9th – 12th graders) 
Thursdays – AM, 9:30-11:15 a.m.
Thursdays – PM, 12:15-2:00 p.m.
Teacher: Tracy Tobias 

This lively class creates opportunity for support and sharing concerning teen issues such as: peer relationships, adolescent identity, family communication, building trust, dating, driving, college preparation, and learning to “let go”.
