Ganesh Bell
President
Uptake

Ganesh Bell is the President of Uptake, the industrial AI and IoT software leader. A proven entrepreneur, Bell has held executive positions across a rare mix of global giants, industry leaders, startups and hyper-growth companies. In 2017, he was named No. 11 in Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business in the world.

Bell came to Uptake from GE, where he was the first-ever Chief Digital Officer. As CEO of GE Power Digital, he built the largest and fastest growing industrial internet business that kick-started the digital transformation of GE’s customers. Prior, he was the Chief Products Officer & EVP at ServiceSource and guided the company through a successful IPO.

A veteran of Silicon Valley and enterprise software, Bell has driven corporate strategy as well as built and led product management, engineering, sales and marketing teams. His breadth of expertise spans platforms, analytics and enterprise applications across leaders like SAP, PeopleSoft & J.D.Edwards. Bell created YouCentric’s leading CRM products and led its core development to successful acquisition by J.D.Edwards.

Bell holds a BS in Mathematics from University of Madras, India, and a MS in Computer Science from North Dakota State University.

 
Ludovic Le Moan

Ludovic Le Moan co-founded Sigfox and launched “0G”, the world’s largest low-power network dedicated to the Internet of Things (IoT) in 2010. In just a few years, Ludovic Le Moan has raised nearly €300 million from strategic and financial investors in Europe, the U.S. and Asia to support Sigfox’s global expansion. Le Moan also co-founded the “IoT Valley”, Europe’s first IoT ecosystem based in Toulouse France, to help start-ups accelerate the deployment of the Internet of Things.

Ludovic has twenty years of experience in the machine-to-machine space. In the late 1990s, he led the COFRAMI Group before founding Anyware Technologies, which enabled the connection, management and monitoring of remote equipment through a Web interface. He then sold Anyware Technologies to Wavecom in 2008. He then created Goojet, a B2C services company that offered a simple, personal experience of the mobile web, which later became Scoop.it and was sold in 2018.

In 2010, he met Christophe Fourtet, a global radio communication expert, and they decided to embark on the Sigfox adventure. Ludovic has a technical CAP and engineering degree from ENSIMAG in Grenoble. He was appointed Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in 2016 by President Emmanuel Macron

 
Dr. Markus Voss

Dr. Markus Voss is a member of the Top Executive Council of the Deutsche Post DHL Group. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of DHL Supply Chain, Dr. Voss manages a global organization of more than 2000 IT specialists responsible for translating ever-evolving business requirements into world-class digital solutions. He oversees more than 2500 supply chain operations and is responsible for driving standardization, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and safety in the business. Dr. Voss has been in the industry for 17 years. Since joining DHL in 2008, he has held a number of senior leadership roles and was most recently CIO for Mainland Europe, Middle East & Africa at DHL Supply Chain.

 
Christopher Fuß
Head of DHL IoT Accelerator

Christopher is heading the IoT Accelerator within DHL and is in charge of the DHL SmartSensor solution, which is offered to all customers and Business Units of DHL. He joined DHL in 2018 and since then is driving and leveraging further IoT applications within DHL together with his team. Previously he worked as a management consultant for network industries like energy, telecommunication and logistics. Here, he was leading multiple projects in the area of Business Modell Innovation based on data-driven services. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim.
 
Ben Gesing

Ben Gesing is a global innovation leader with 7+ years of experience developing technical solutions in the logistics, telecommunications, and consumer electronics industry. Today he leads the Trend Research activities at the DHL Innovation Center near Bonn, Germany. He and his team are responsible for shaping the overall innovation agenda at Deutsche Post DHL Group through producing industry trend reports and piloting cutting edge technologies like artificial intelligence, computer vision, and robotics in live logistics operations together with startups.
 
Dr. Markus Kückelhaus
Vice President Innovation & Trend Research

Dr. Markus Kückelhaus is Vice President Innovation & Trend Research, DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation. Markus Kückelhaus is heading the global research and innovation activities of Deutsche Post DHL Group and is in charge of the DHL flagship Innovation Center near Bonn. He joined DHL in 2012 as Director Trend Research, monitoring and leveraging trends with his team that will impact the logistics industry in the future. Previously he worked as a free-lance consultant for DHL, supporting the development of a group wide innovation system and implementing strategies and business models for innovation initiatives. His career history also includes positions as Head of Controlling for the biggest German DIY retailer OBI, Principal at CTcon Management Consulting and lecturer at the WHU Graduate School of Management in Koblenz as well as the Victoria-University of Wellington.
