What is included in my registration fee?

An Annual Meeting registration includes all educational sessions (with the exception of optional and/or additional fee sessions as indicated on the registration form). Registration only includes sessions that do not have an additional cost. You will have to arrange and pay for your meals, travel, transportation, and housing on your own.  

When does registration close?

Registration is open until the final day of the meeting, Tuesday, November 22. We will e-mail name badges in November to registered attendees.

How can I get a receipt for my Annual Meeting registration?

Once you’ve registered for the Annual Meeting you will receive an email confirmation. There is a link provided within the email confirmation that you may click and you will see a “Print Receipt” button located on the page.

I’ve registered and I can’t attend the Annual Meeting, how do I cancel my registration and receive a refund?

We understand that members may have concerns about travelling while COVID and its variants remain a factor. We continue to monitor closely the national, state, and local COVID-related data, as well as follow all CDC guidelines. Notwithstanding these concerns, we encourage members to register early to benefit from lower registration rates. We will offer full refunds up to July 28, 2022 and refunds with and administrative fee of $40 until October 21, 2022 

To cancel and receive a refund, cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by October 21, 2022.  Prior to July 29,2022 you may cancel without paying the administrative fee.  Beginning July 29 , 2022 cancellations will be charged a $40 administrative fee.  Cancellation requests received after October 21, 2022 will only be honored with a valid doctors excuse.

Please send meeting cancellation requests to There are no refunds for tours. Registrations, tours, or workshops cannot be switched to another person’s name. Proof of payment may be required.

Hotel reservations may be added or changed within the registration system through October 21, 2022. After October 21, please email us at for instructions, or follow the updated instructions listed on our website here.

I need to know when my session will be. Can you tell me now?

Download our Annual Meetings app for the latest session and exhibit information.  There is information on how to download the app on the Mobile App page of this website.

How will I receive my name badge?

·       We will be sending print your badge information and links prior to arriving in Denver.  Printing your badge before arrival will help you avoid any lines or delays in reaching your early sessions and the exhibit floor.  If you print your badge prior to arrival, you will be able to pick up your lanyard and badge holders in the bins located near the registration area, as well as your tote bag.

Who can register as an accompanying person?
The accompanying person rate is for spouses, partners, and family members only; it is not valid for colleagues. Spouse, partners, and family members will have full access to the Annual Meetings 2022.

When are the first and last sessions at the Annual Meeting?

The SBL & AAR Annual Meeting programs & sessions begin on Saturday, November 19 at 9:00 AM (9.00h) and end on Tuesday, November 22 at 12:00 PM (12.00h). Pre-conference meetings hosted by the SBL & AAR and other organizations may begin as early as Wednesday.

What is the dress code?

Attire is business casual. Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, skirts, blouses and most importantly, comfortable shoes. We also recommend you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary.

Is there internet access?

There will be limited complimentary wifi at the convention center so attendees can access the mobile app.

Hotels in the Annual Meetings room block have complimentary Internet access available in the lobbies and guest rooms.

Will there be a coat and/or luggage check?

There will be coat check available in the lobby of the Colorado Convention Center. The cost is $3 and only accepts payment by card (no cash). The coat check area will be in the Colorado Convention Center lobby. It will be staffed as follows:

  • Saturday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Sunday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Monday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday 7:00 am – 1:00 pm

Are there floorplans of the Colorado Convention Center?

Floorplans will be available in the mobile app and online planner.  Download information is on the Mobile App tab of this website.

Where can I get free coffee?

Complimentary coffee will be served in the back of the Exhibit Hall located in the Colorado Convention Center on Saturday through Tuesday at 9:30 am.

  • Convention Center, Room 102 (has refrigerator)
  • Convention Center , Room FCR (across from room 300)
  • Embassy Suites, Flagstone room (has refrigerator) 

Where are the gender neutral restrooms located?

No, there will not be an Annual Meetings bus or shuttle from the hotels to convention center this year.
