Located in Griffith Park, one of the U.S.'s largest urban parks, Harding Municipal Golf Course is a beautiful, tree lined, well established course built in 1924. The fairways are somewhat narrow with many challenging, narrow approaches into guarded greens. Although 6,536 yards long, it plays much longer and is a challenge for both low and high handicappers alike. It requires accurate shot placement to be successful.

Thursday, August 2nd
Spouse/Companion Tour - Alcatraz and Sausalito & Lunch
9:00am-4:00pm

Today, you will be "sentenced" to a "short term" on the notorious  Alcatraz Island federal penitentiary. From the San Francisco waterfront,  you will take a short ferry ride across the chilly waters of the Bay to "the Rock." Here, visit the cells once occupied by some of the nation's most infamous criminals. On this austere wind and fog-ridden island, it is easy to see why few attempts were made to escape into the treacherous bay with its undertows and turbulent waters. An expertly created audio tour contains interviews with former prisoners and guards from "the Rock," providing fascinating insight into prison life in the middle of the San Francisco Bay.

Following the tour, you will be treated to lunch in a quaint Sausalito waterfront  restaurant, Odines, then have free time before you ferry back to San Francisco.
Fee per person: $140.00 USD. The tour price is not included in your registration fee.
Minimum is 20 attendees. If minimum is not met, tour is subject to cancellation.
You must pre-register for this tour.
