iNEMI MEMS Workshop:
“MEMS; Driving Next Level Results Through Collaboration”
Please note: this event is co-located with M2M Forum and not included in your registration fee.
Organizer: International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (iNEMI)
Date: May 10, 2012
Location: Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel; Pittsburgh, PA. (Co-located with MIG’s M2M Forum 2012)
Meeting Background
iNEMI has a long-term, proven model and methodology for managing high-impact collaborative R&D projects that deliver results on complex industry technology and business challenges. This second iNEMI MEMS workshop will focus on the challenges facing the development and adoption of MEMS technologies, as MEMS applications and markets grow. Through collaboration along the supply chain we can reduce risk and accelerate technology adoption in a wide variety of product segments.
iNEMI has been roadmapping the manufacturing needs of the MEMS industry for a number of years. This workshop will focus on refining the identified challenges and gaps that will benefit from a collaborative approach. These gaps may be related to technology maturity/deployment as well as development processes such as testing methodologies and reliability verification. In particular, the two new initiatives being proposed by iNEMI, in the areas of MEMS Test Methods and Capabilities and MEMS Reliability Methodologies will be reviewed.
