Understanding the Commitment Process
Why do I need
to fill this out?
When you registered for TNT, you
committed to raising lifesaving funds in return for your participation
in the America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride event weekend. Your
commitment response will let your TNT staff know your decision to complete
or drop from the season. If you choose to continue the season, you are pledging
to LLS to meet your fundraising commitment and participate in your event.
After you submit your commitment and reservations, your chapter staff person will begin to confirm your event weekend arrangements.
What is my
fundraising commitment?
Fundraising levels vary depending on team
benefits selected such no hotel option. Fundraising commitment levels are available with the bike shipping and hotel options listed below. If you would like to change your fundraising commitment level, please contact your local staff member with your preferred commitment level before completing the Commitment form.
Fundraising Commitment Options:
- Hotel stay is NOT included - Bike shipping is NOT included
- Two night hotel stay, with a TNT roommate* - Bike shipping is NOT included
- Three night hotel stay, with a TNT roommate* - Bike shipping is NOT included
- Hotel stay is NOT included - Bike shipping IS included
- Two night hotel stay, with a TNT roommate* AND Bike shipping
- Three night hotel stay, with a TNT roommate* AND Bike shipping
All fundraising commitment levels also include:
- Ride Entry for America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride
- One complimentary ticket to Inspiration Dinner
- TNT race day cycle jersey
What if I can no longer participate with TNT?
If
you are unable to commit, there will be a link in the invitation email for you
to click on. This will let us know you’ll be discontinuing your participation
this season and will save you from receiving reminder emails and calls in the
future.
What if I commit to Team In Training and want to drop later?
If you drop from the TNT program after commitment for any reason other than injury, deployment, or pregnancy, you are still responsible for your full fundraising commitment. If you drop from the program due to injury, deployment, or pregnancy, a doctor's note or copy of military orders must be submitted to drop or be allowed transfer to a future TNT event (within one calendar year). In addition, 25% of your fundraising commitment must remain in your current event account.

What is
an Inspiration Dinner? When is it?
The Inspiration Dinner is a time
for your teammates, coaches, mentors, honored teammates, and staff to come
together and celebrate all that you have accomplished this season.
Inspiration Dinner will be Saturday, June 3rd.

All fundraising
team members receive one complimentary ticket. When completing event weekend
reservations, you can choose to purchase additional tickets. Adult tickets are
$45.00, $23.00/Child (ages 3-12). Children ages 2 and under (sitting in an adults lap) are
free. You will be required to pay for these tickets when submitting your
event weekend reservations.
Please note: We will have two seating times for dinner - 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. As we get closer to event day, we'll send you an email with your chapter's assigned time for dinner.
Where are
we staying?
If your fundraising commitment level includes a hotel stay. The majority of the team will stay at Harvey's Lake Tahoe, but due to the size of the team, a few chapters have been assigned to Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. Please click here to see your chapter's assigned hotel.

Depending on the Fundraising Commitment Level you selected, you may receive a two or three night hotel stay with a TNT roommate. If you prefer to have a room to yourself or share with non-TNT guest(s), you may pay for the other half of your room.
Who will I be rooming with?
As a TNT participant, your
fundraising covers half the room rate. If
you opt to have your own room, you will be responsible for paying half the room rate for each night of your
stay. Pricing information is available in the hotel reservation section of the Commitment portion of this site. The room options available to you are as follows:
· No Room Needed: You will need to make your own reservations for the event weekend.
· Own Room: You do not wish to share your room with another TNT participant since you would like your own room and/or are bringing guests. You will be responsible for paying half the room rate per night at the end of the reservation process.
· Will you be sharing your room with any guests? If yes, you will be asked to provide the names of your guests. Please note, the hotel will assess additional fees for triple and quadruple occupancy.
·
TNT Roommate:
If you and another TNT
participant would like to be paired as roommates, you BOTH must enter the other
person in the roommate question in order for the system to pair you.
o Please make sure ahead of time that your desired roommate knows to put your name and chapter down.
· If you would like TNT to assign you a roommate, leave the roommate field blank and TNT will match you with another person of the same gender who also indicated they would like a TNT roommate.
Payment and Making Changes to Your Reservations
How do I pay
for additional items I ordered?
If you choose to purchase guest tickets
to the Inspiration Dinner and/or had hotel fees, you will be required to submit
your credit card information for payment. When you submit your reservations, the
system will then charge your credit card for the items purchased.
What happens
after I complete the Commitment and Event Weekend Form?
After you submit your Commitment
and Event Weekend Form, you will receive a confirmation email
with your event weekend reservations and commitment
response. Please review and save this email as it also contains
instructions for logging back into the system should you need to make changes
to your reservations.
How can I change my
event weekend reservations (hotel and/or Inspiration Dinner) after I have
submitted my form?
You will have until the dates listed below to make changes to your
selections. After the
deadline, the system will lock and will be unable to accept changes. After these dates, LLS will finalize reservations
with the vendors and will not be able to make any changes to your hotel and/or
Inspiration Dinner ticket orders (including refunds).

To make changes to your reservation, follow these steps:
- Locate your commitment confirmation email from Team In Training
- Click on the link to make changes in the email
- When prompted, enter your last name and reference number that is listed in your confirmation email
- Make your changes and submit the form
If you are removing items and need a refund, please email christine morrison to initiate your refund.
