Negril, Jamaica The Half Marathon & 10K begin at Long Bay Beach Park, situated midway along Negril’s famed 7-mile white sand beach. The course loops into Negril town center and then heads east to Bloody Bay before returning to finish at Long Bay Beach Park. The 5K race also starts at Long Bay Beach Park, heading in the opposite direction towards Negril’s aerodrome, with the same finishing point. The mostly flat course is an IAAF certified half marathon & 10K course. |

Course Information |
Start and Finish: Long Bay Beach Park, Norman Manley Boulevard Start Time: Half Marathon & 10K - 5:15 am | 5K - 5:25 am. The Course remains open for 4 hours. Aid stations located every mile (13 in all), manned by experienced runners and enthusiastic volunteers. Cooling stations with misters and iced-towel wraps. Inspirational Reggae music at every mile. Closed lanes for runners. Certified IAAF and AIMS course meeting international standards. The event is sanctioned by the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA). Medical stations and fully equipped ambulances positioned along the course and staffed by a premier multi- disciplinary medical team. |

The temperature should be a low of 24°C / 76°F at the start of the race. With low annual rainfall, rain is not expected. |

In its 24th year, the Reggae Marathon’s Half Marathon, 10K & 5K races have earned a reputation for being well-organised and international, with a focus on runner enjoyment. Participants combine an island vacation and a great sporting event for a truly unique experience. A maximum of 3,000 participants is allowed.
