ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Deadline for abstract submission is Monday, 30 September 2024 at 11:59 PM MDT (UTC-6)

On the "Submissions" page, you will be prompted to add your abstract into a submission form. Please adhere to the following guidelines before submitting. Abstracts not conforming may be rejected. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the ICARP IV Program Committee and session conveners. Based on their relevance to the conference sessions, research quality, and contribution value, the abstract will be either accepted, suggested for a different session or presentation type, or rejected.

Selecting the Most Appropriate Session

  • Please review the full list of sessions that are accepting abstracts. For convenience, sessions have been organized across eight thematic areas, seven of which correspond to the seven ICARP IV Research Priority Teams. The program committee selected the most relevant thematic area for each listed session, however, many sessions are relevant to more than one thematic area. Abstract submitters are highly encouraged to browse and review all available sessions before selecting a session to submit to.
  • Please select the most relevant session for your abstract (required).
  • Consider selecting the second most relevant session for your abstract (optional).

Selecting the Most Appropriate Format for Presentation

  • Select “Oral in-person” if you plan to present the presentation in-person during the ICARP IV Summit (25-28 March 2025). If your session is not accepted for an in-person oral presentation, you may be invited to present as an in-person poster.
  • Select “Poster in-person” if you plan to offer an in-person poster presentation during the ICARP IV Summit poster session on 26 March 2025. Specific guidelines and formats for poster presentations will be provided in fall 2024.
  • Select “Oral virtual” if you plan to present the presentation virtually during the ICARP IV Summit (25-28 March 2025). The ICARP IV Summit will be hosted in a fully hybrid format. If your session is not accepted for a virtual oral presentation, you may be invited to contribute your presentation to the virtual poster session.
  • Select “Poster virtual” if you plan to contribute a poster presentation to the virtual poster session. Specific guidelines and formats for virtual poster presentations will be provided in fall 2024.
