2015 World STI & HIV Congress and Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference
Only 2 weeks until close of abstract submissions!
World STI & HIV Congress
13-16 September 2015
Brisbane, Australia

Up-and Coming?  Young Investigator? Watch this space!

The International Society for STD Research (ISSTDR) promotes up-and-coming new and outstanding international researchers.

Once again the meeting is being held in conjunction with the International Union against STIs (IUSTI) ensuring a vibrant event with delegates from around the world.  In 2015, the Congress will incorporate The Australasian Sexual Health Conference and be hosted by the Australasian Sexual Health Alliance (ASHA) and the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM).

As we finalise the conference program, we will keep you up to date and give you further details about:
  • Travel scholarships for young investigators whose abstract is selected for an oral presentation
  • Awards for the best abstracts – young investigators will present in a special symposium
  • “Surviving and thriving in STI research” – meet major research funders and mentors, journal publishers and editors at this symposium on the tricks of the trade
  • Penelope Lowe breakfast – awards for Australasian clinicians in training
  • Happy hours to meet and mingle with colleagues
Our definition of a “young investigator” is a researcher at any career stage under the age of 40 years by the abstract closing date.
