Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception provides ample opportunities to create networking foundations which can grow into strong working relationships throughout the remainder of the Conference.

The Welcome Reception tickets are $100.00 per person and include arrival drinks and canapés from 5.30pm until 7.30pm at The Foyer, Lifestyle Working Collins Street. Located 900 metres from the conference venue. (GOOGLE MAPS)

The Ideaction.2016 Conference Dinner will be hosted at The Plaza Ballroom, located in the heart of Collins Street at Melbourne’s famous Regent Theatre.

With one of Melbourne's favourite bands 'Red Alert', this is guaranteed to be a memorable event combined with award-winning catering and impeccable service.

The Conference Dinner tickets are $170.00 per person and include arrival drinks and canapés, entrée, main and dessert, served with wine, beer and soft drink from 7pm. Located 2.3km from the conference venue. (GOOGLE MAPS)

DESCRIPTION OF SITE: Since commencing operations in 2002, Fed Square has been successful in delivering diverse programs, activities and events to many millions of local, national and international visitors. It has become globally renowned as a place where locals and visitors come to celebrate, learn, innovate and connect. We host over 2,000 events annually and became a carbon neutral precinct in 2014. Fed Square is the size of a city block or 5.2 hectares and is built on top of a working railway.

UNIQUE FEATURES: The labyrinth; a 1.2km passive cooling system, designed to cool The Atrium and the Deakin Edge during summer and to supplement heating during winter.
Being suspended over live railway tracks means the Square is supported on crash walls and cushioned on giant springs to reduce vibrations.
Over 64 water tanks capture rain and storm water from across the site to service the public toilets and water the garden. Co-generation plant.
Recently home to a giant inflatable slide. The water from the slide was recycled and flushed over 20,000 toilets and watered the gardens for 16 days.
