Transportation
Taxis and motorcycle taxis, known locally as "motos," are widely available in Kigali. Public transportation is also accessible, with buses serving most parts of the city.
Climate and Weather
Rwanda has a tropical climate with two rainy seasons: February to June and September to December. Kigali's average high temperature in August is around 27°C (81°F), while the average low is around 15°C (59°F). It is generally warm with occasional rain.
Electricity
Rwanda uses type “C” and “J” plugs with two round pins, and the standard voltage is 230 V at 50 Hz.

Rwanda operates on Central Africa Time (CAT), which is GMT+2.
Currency
The official currency in Rwanda is the Rwandan Franc (RWF). Currency can be exchanged at banks and exchange bureaus. It's also possible to withdraw cash from ATMs using major credit cards. Check the exchange rate before your trip.
