Guided Tour of the Parliament Building

Valid photo ID required.

The Parliament Building, constructed from 1877 to 1886, stands as an impressive edifice with four wings forming a large square. Its architecture draws inspiration from the Louvre Palace in Paris, making it one of the few French-style institutional buildings in Québec City. Serving as Québec's oldest historic site and the seat of its government, this remarkable structure features a main facade adorned with 26 bronze statues honouring significant historical figures. Discover the wonders within this captivating place through a guided tour of the Parliament, where the province's 125 members shape its destiny. This 75-minute tour unveils the rich history and functioning of Québec's parliamentary institutions, as well as the province's own narrative, revealing intriguing secrets and surprises along the way.

To accommodate all participants, we will split into multiple tour groups. We ask that participants arrive up to 30 minutes before the start time of the tour. The Parliament Building is a 14 minute walk from the Fairmont.
