The workshop will address the unique features of the PAI, including an overview of the full scales and subscales. The workshop will review the relevance of the PAI scales to understanding and making decisions about patients seen in reproductive medicine and fertility counseling practices. Several approaches will be reviewed for the detection of positive response distortion and how to interpret profiles provided by defensive or dishonest respondents. Case studies will be presented to illustrate each of the various procedures presented in the workshop.
