Celebrating the 10th Annual
Jefferson Infertility Counseling Conference

From our humble origins in a small Jefferson classroom ten years ago, JICC has established itself as THE conference to find the most up-to-date, evidence-based, and clinically innovative information for those who provide mental health or psychosocial support to infertility patients. The conference combines cutting-edge expert lectures, with highly interactive learning opportunities through small group learning sessions, patient panels, and multiple networking opportunities to enhance targeted learning— all in a welcoming, informal setting.

Overall Conference Objectives:

At the conclusion, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize male reproductive health policies and psychosocial issues for donors and recipients
  • Recognize racial disparities amongst and deepen cultural competency in working with ethnically diverse populations in infertility settings
  • Describe evolving perspectives of donor conceived adults
  • Utilize clinical skills for counseling intended parents pursuing surrogacy and gamete donation
  • Describe current telehealth services’ challenges, approaches, and risks in reproductive medicine mental health counseling
  • Summarize evidence-based approaches for conducting third party psychological evaluations
  • Utilize state of the art psychosocial and behavioral assessment and treatment approaches for infertile individuals and couples
