HLC is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all HLC in-person events. All individuals participating in any in-person event are required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, in accordance with CDC guidance, to attend the event. The definition of what it means to be "fully vaccinated for COVID-19" will vary by individual. As such, attendees should consult the CDC guidance to determine their individual requirements.

Health & Safety

What is HLC’s plan for COVID-19 health and safety at its events?

HLC requires all event attendees, including attendees of the Designing Initiatives for Student Success Workshop, to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by public health authorities, to attend the event.

How will I verify my COVID-19 vaccination status?

HLC has secured a third-party provider, CrowdPass, to verify COVID-19 vaccination status. HLC will not track or retain vaccination information from CrowdPass. In-person attendees will be provided with a link to CrowdPass to provide information regarding their vaccination status. This link and more information on CrowdPass will be provided closer to the conference.

Will exceptions to HLC’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement be accepted?

To assure the health and safety of all attendees, HLC will not generally consider individual exceptions to this requirement. HLC’s third-party provider, CrowdPass, has a process for individuals requesting an accommodation related to a disability or religious belief. These individuals will be required to have a negative COVID-19 test administered by a medical professional within 72 hours of the event start date.

Registration

I have a scheduling conflict over the event date. Can I send a different representative in my place over the conflicting date?

Yes, replacements are allowed. To ensure that the replacement receives all requisite communications and materials, please contact Events no later than 10 business days prior to the start date of the event.

What is the maximum number of registrants per institution?

Institutions should send at least four and no more than eight representatives per team.

What meals are provided in the registration fee?

Breakfast, daily lunch, snack breaks, and beverages will be provided at hotel for all attendees. Attendees are responsible for their dinner each night.
