An important part of the Conference is the opportunity to network with colleagues. The London Committee has organised two very special venues, one with views of the River Thames and one with a little bit of history in the City of London.
Delegates are invited to start the Conference with spectacular views over the City and the River Thames on the King's College Terrace.
Drinks and canapes will be offered between 18.00 and 20.00 to meet up with colleagues and friends. Registration for the Conference will also be available at this time.
After the Reception there is an abundance of eateries nearby on the Embankment and the Strand.

APAGBI invites delegates to an elegant evening in one of the famous Livery Halls located in the City of London.
We will welcome everyone to an alfresco reception against a backdrop of the City’s contemporary buildings and in the Barbers’ Physic Garden, with its paved, gated Terrace and a section of the original London wall, is the hidden oasis that provides an enchanting setting for a reception.
Dinner will be in the Barber-Surgeons' Hall centrepiece, The Great Hall. This is a striking room, panelled with Japanese Oak and opening directly onto the Terrace. Lit with Waterford crystal chandeliers, flooded with natural light and bowed towards the West, the Hall is dominated by a magnificent Holbein painting of Henry VIII uniting the Barbers’ and Surgeons’ Companies in 1541/2.
The Committee invites you to enjoy this building and share the evening with colleagues at an event designed to celebrate the APAGBI 47th Annual Scientific Meeting.
Ticket price: £65.00 includes the drinks reception, a three course meal and some drinks with the meal and entertaiment.
