The Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists' Annual Scientific Meeting will be hosted in London 2020 by a team drawn from the many hospitals that care for children in the capital. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the European Society for Paediatric Anaesthesiology (ESPA), who will make significant contribution to the programme.
The programme will feature developing areas such as peri-operative medicine, foetal surgery and EXIT procedures.
Topical issues such as the impact of high profile cases on staff, increasing demand for trauma services and the environmental impact of anaesthetic practice will be covered. In addition to lectures and symposia, there will be practical workshops on Total Intravenous Anaesthesia, airway management and dealing with the anxious child.
The Organising Committee is excited by the opportunity to offer a relevant and varied programme and look forward to welcoming you to London.
