Virtual Advanced Complex Surgical Airway Management Case Study Series

The Veterans Health Administration is excited to announce a NEW cutting-edge educational opportunity for 2022. This five-part live webinar series will examine complex case studies and provide practical approaches for management of surgical airways in varying patient populations.

The presence of a tracheostomy or laryngectomy has life-altering implications and caring for these patients can be difficult and often high risk with regards to complications, morbidity and mortality. The literature supports the expertise of a variety of professionals for optimal management of these patients. This interprofessional series for medical professionals will provide innovative education on airway management, rehabilitation and advances in clinical practice recommendations for respiration, communication and swallowing needs for patients with a surgical airway.
All sessions will include time for question and answer sessions and discussions with our interdisciplinary panel of speakers.

Each session will last 1 hour, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm CT.
