About

The 2022 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference "Empire State of Agriculture" is the premier professional development event for Pre-K through 12th grade teachers, volunteers, and professionals in agricultural literacy. Taking place in beautiful Saratoga Springs, NY, this event will inspire attendees to teach through a lens of agriculture.

You must register for the conference to participate.

The National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization works to increase the agricultural literacy of teachers and students by helping them communicate the source and value of agriculture in our lives.

Registration Fees

In-person Conference

$435 Early Bird - May 20, 2022
$485 Registration – May 21, 2022 - June 10, 2022
$535 Late registration – June 11, 2022 – June 17, 2022
$585 on site

Full registration includes all conference meals, breaks, and your selected traveling workshop on June 29, 2022.

Pre- and post-conference tours, ticketed experiences, fundraisers, and more will be available to add to your conference registration.

Support 501c3 non-profit, the National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization, and play BINGO! Purchase a set of 10 BINGO cards for $20 and play the game at the banquet the evening of Thursday, June 30, 2022 after our keynote speaker.

You will have a chance to win fabulous prizes donated by Agriculture in the Classroom state and territory programs from across the country.

Add BINGO cards to your conference registration and pick them up with your conference materials.

Cancellation Policy

Substitution of registrants may be made by June 22, 2022 by emailing events@naitco.org.
To cancel your registration please contact events@naitco.org by May 20, 2022, 11:59 PM EST. Regsitrations will be canceled, and a refund issued less a $100 processing fee. Registration cancellation after May 20, 2022 will be forfeited full registration fee. All registration cancellation request must be in writing.

Tour New York!

Pre- and post-conference tours are available to add to your conference registration. The tours are an additional fee, and there are limited seats available.

Pre-Conference Tours on Tuesday, June 28th include two options:

New York, New York - Explore the city at your pace, seeing the sites at the top of your list.

Adirondack Adventure - Visit the interactive exhibits of the Adirondack Experience, and spend the rest of the day in the Olympic village of Lake Placid.

There is one half day option for a Post-Conference Tour on Friday, July 1st:

Explore Cooperstown - With the choice of visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame or the incredible interpretive Farmers' Museum, everyone will enjoy a visit to beautiful Cooperstown.

Haunted Saratoga Walking Ghost Tour

Discover the ghosts of Haunted Saratoga! Hear the stories that have lived on in our city for hundreds of years. The will enchant, entertainand perhaps even scare you. The 90-minute long walking tour will take you in search of the countless ghosts rumored to haunt the city. Total walking distance is less than a mile, covered at a very leisurely pace so that you can enjoy the Saratoga’s many infamous ghosts and haunted locations.

You will hear about and perhaps even meet Old Smoke who, it is said, haunts the old Canfield Casino, Angeline, known as the Witch of Saratoga, Hattie, who has been known to make appearances in her restaurant since her passing and several other spirits.

This additional experience can be added during registration. The tour is $25 per person, and will be offered just on Wednesday evening (6/29) with groups departing between 5:45pm and 6:15pm.

Conference T-shirts

Conference t-shirts are available for the pre-sale price of $20. T-shirts will be available for pick up during conference check-in. A limited number of shirts will be available for purchase onsite for $25. Add the desired quantity and size of shirt(s) to your registration.

*The shirt color will vary based on the supply availability in May.
