General

Q. Are sessions recorded? 

No, sessions will only be available in person.

Q. Can I download slides?

Yes! Speaker presentations can be accessed in the mobile app under each session description on the Agenda.

Q. How do I download the mobile app?

Conference mobile app will launch a week prior to conference. An email will be sent out to the registered email with login information.

Q. How do I document my professional development?

If you need a certificate to claim professional development points for attending the conference, certificates will be available to download. Also, please be aware that you are responsible for filling it out and submitting it to the appropriate agency with your school district to receive credit.

Q. Are hotel accommodations included?

Accommodation costs are not included in the conference registration fee. Attendees are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. To make a room reservation at the Saratoga Hilton Hotel click here. To make a room reservation at the Courtyard Saratoga Springs click here. The NAITCO group rate is $169/night at the Hilton and $159 at the Courtyard. There are a limited number of rooms available.

Q. What happens if I cannot attend in-person and how do I cancel my conference registration?

To completely cancel your registration, please contact events@naitco.org by May 20, 2022 11:59 PM EST. Registrations will be canceled and a refund issued less a $100 processing fee. Registration cancellation after May 20, 2022 will be forfeited full registration fee. All registration cancellation request must be in writing by emailing events@naitco.org.

Exhibit Hall

Q. How do I access the Exhibitor Showcase?

The Exhibitor Showcase will be located throughout the hallways of the event space.

Show Hours:

  • Wednesday, June 29: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Thursday, June 30:     8:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Q. Do I have to register for the conference as an exhibitor?

Yes, everyone at the conference must have conference credentials. With your exhibit tabletop, two complimentary exhibitor credentials are included. Exhibitor credentials include access to exhibit space and networking breaks. This does not cover traveling workshops or conference meals. Conference registration can be purchased at the full conference rate.  Additional exhibitor credentials can be purchased at $125each. Conference credentials are required for all representatives present.

Q. When am I able to setup my display in the Exhibitor Showcase?

Exhibitors may set up their display during the times listed below. 

Setup Times:

  • Tuesday, June 28:         1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, June 29:     7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Workshops

Q. How do I speak at NAITC Conference?

The call for presentations for 2022 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference is closed. The Call for Presentations for 2023 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference will open in late 2022.

Q. Do I have to registers if I am a workshop presenter?

Yes, we require all attendees to register for the conference as all attendees must have conference credentials while on-site.

Q. Do I get a discounted registration as a workshop presenter?

Yes, please reach out to events@naitco.org to get the presenter discount code.

 

Traveling Workshops

Q. Is there a special dress code for traveling workshops?

Traveling workshops are in general a casual attire event. Closed-toe shoes are generally a good idea as you will be visiting working farms and processing facilities. 

Specific attire needs will be listed in the Traveling Workshop descriptions and communicated via email prior to the conference.

Q. Are there any specific requirements for attending stops on a Traveling Workshop?

No, there are no specific requirements for attending stops on the Traveling Workshops as of now.

 

Pre & Post Conference Tours

Q. Are there any specific requirements for going on the tours?

As of 2/28/22, proof of vaccination is required for admittance to dining and entertainment establishments in New York City. If you register and pay for the New York City pre-conference tour on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 you understand that you will need to bring proof of vaccination. The most up to date vaccination requirements for New York City can be found on the NYC Public Health website. 

The pre- and post-conference tours to the Adirondacks and Cooperstown do not require proof of vaccination.

Q. What if I can still attend the conference but am unable to go on the tour I registered for?

To make changes to your pre- or post-conference tour prior to the conference please email events@naitco.org. If there is waiting list for your tour, a refund will be issued.
