As we plan for ACMA 2022 National Conference, your health and safety, while enjoying an exceptional education and
networking experience, is our top priority. ACMA has given thoughtful consideration to create health and safety guidelines.
What Attendees Can Expect Onsite:
Attendees, speakers, exhibitors, guests and ACMA support staff in attendance may optionally choose to wear face masks while indoors, in accordance with CDC guidelines. Disposable masks will be made available onsite for attendees needing a replacement or additional mask.
While ACMA is not requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test result as a requirement for attendance, attendees are asked to evaluate their own health and those they are in close contact with before considering traveling and attending conference. Those attendees with a positive COVID-19 test, or who are actively exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms, should not attend and should contact ACMA regarding their registration options.
ACMA is working closely with the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center and our contractors and exhibitors to ensure elevated disinfection and sanitary protocols are met throughout our event space. This will include:
- Hand sanitizer stations placed throughout the venue
- Session rooms, exhibit halls, receptions and auxiliary events that are socially distanced to the greatest extent possible
- Managed traffic flow to avoid bottleneck
- Electronic handouts (provided prior and post conference) in addition to conference communications provided through a mobile app
- Meals served following COVID-19 guidelines for food distribution
- COVID-safety reminder signage
We will also continue to seek expert advice on up-to-the-moment health and safety direction from the WHO, the CDC, State and Local public health authorities, and recognized health and safety experts. As more information becomes available, these guidelines may change.
Thank you in advance for helping us to ensure this is a safe, healthy and productive conference for all involved. Please review all attendee responsibilities prior to attending the conference.
These guidelines apply to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and ACMA staff regardless of registration date. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these rules, please contact ACMA.
