CONFERENCE AGENDA*

Otherwise noted, all events will be held at the Iowa Event Center. Sessions that are being offered virtually, will have a 'VIRTUAL' tag beneath the session title.

*Please note, schedule is subject to change.

Traveling Workshops

Traveling workshops are an included experience with your in-person conference registration. Buses will take you out of the conference center and directly into Iowa's diverse food and farming communities. You will speak with farmers, researchers, and experts in agriculture on their home base and these conversations will help you illustrate agriculture to your students.

Traveling workshops take place on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Stops are subject to change, limited capacity in each traveling workshop.

Pre-Conference Tours

Arriving to the conference early? Consider adding one of two incredible experiences to your registration for Monday, June 28, 2021 with a pre-conference tour.

It's not only the soil that's rich in Iowa, so is its history. Each pre-conference tour includes 3 or more stops during a day of exploration to locations that include the American Gothic House, the Amana Colonies, the Herbert Hoover Birthplace and Presidential Library, and so much more.

Stops are subject to change, and there is limited capacity for each tour.

Post-Conference Tour

Building an extra day into your conference is worthwhile just for our post-conference tour! Add a trip to visit the Bridges of Madison County on Friday, July 2, 2021.

Along with visiting 3 of the covered bridges, this day-long experience will bring you to the John Wayne Birthplace and Museum, a cut-flower farm and event center, and tour and taste the wines of Covered Bridges Winery to round out your experience.
