FAQ

General Questions:

  1. Is the Jefferson Infertility Conference 2021 being held in-person or virtually?  This year's conference will be held virtually April 7 - 10, 2021.  

  2. What time zone will the conference be held?  Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) Zone, please refer to the agenda for start and end times. 

  3. What virtual platform will be used?   The virtual platform is Zoom.  Attendees will receive links to the conference one week prior to the conference start date. 

  4. I am new to Zoom, what should I know?  DOWNLOAD - Zoom Pointers for the Jefferson Infertility Counseling Conference for everything you need to know about Zoom.

  5. How do I access slides?   As a registered attendee, you will be able to access all slide & handout materials.  If you did not receive the email instructions on how to access the slides,  please email Jacki Bennis at Jacki@somp.co.  

  6. Will conference sessions be made available On-demand?   All sessions with exception of interactive sessions will be made available On-Demand following the conclusion of the conference.

  7. Is the PAI Workshop an optional session?  Yes, the PAI Workshop is an optional workshop being offered on April 10.  The cost of this workshop is $200.00.   This workshop will not be recorded. 

  8. What are the payment options?    Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard) or by check

  9. If paying by check, what is the procedure?     When submitting payment by check,  make checks out ot Jefferson OBGYN, include registration number and attendee or company name in the memo line.  The registration number will be found on the completed confirmation invoice.   Mail the check and a copy of your invoice to the address below:

Continuing Education Credits:

  1. How will I receive continuing education certifications?  At the conclusion of the conference, registered attendees will receive a survey that will need to be completed within 2 weeks.  Certificates will be created based on these surveys.  Certificates will be emailed within 45 days of the end of the conference. 

  2. Will continuing education credits be offered for each session or for each day as a whole?  Credits earned will be given by day not session.

  3. Since the sessions will be recorded, can I earn credits by watching the sessions On-demand?    To earn continuing education credits attendees must attend the virtual conference live.  Credits cannot be earned when watching On-Demand videos. 

  4. Will ethics credits be specified on the CE certificate attendees receive? All credits will be given for specific speciality, e.g. APA, NASW, NY social work, requested and evident on the certificate.  For those attending the Friday program, the number of ethics credits will be indicated on the certificate.  

  5. How do I find out if I can get LPC CEU's from the state I live in?   We offer NASW or APA which are usually accepted by most states for the LPC degree.  Check with your licensing board and their website to see whether you can use either of the accrediting bodies for your CE.

  6. I didn't receive the evaluation links, what do I do?  Email Jacki Bennis at jacki@somp.co and request the evaluations links to be resent.
